This course is specifically designed for individuals who want to further their skills in altering garments. A professional alterations seamstress will show you tips and tricks. This course is especially good for you if you are interested in working in Alterations. Many of the techniques taught focus on speed and accuracy which is crucial in this industry.

By the end of this course you will feel quite capable altering many different garments. Students will need a domestic sewing machine, iron, and basic sewing kit at home to practice and complete their garments. EcoEquitable will supply the sewing machine during class as well as fabric when possible.

Prerequisite: Sewing Basics II or Alterations I or Intermediate sewing ability.

Written notice of cancellation may be processed with a full refund (minus a 10% admin fee) two weeks prior to the course starting. Cancellations received 1 week prior to the course are eligible for a 50% refund unless there is a wait list for the course. Cancellations within the final week prior to the course are non-refundable unless there is a wait list for the course and the course can be run with full attendance.
