Pattern Making I (October 5th - December 7th)

In this class you will learn hot to make pattern for a fitted dress and alter it into other designs.

Your curriculum for 8 sessions is as below. 
1.  Take body measurements
2.  Draft patterns of bodice, sleeve and skirt based on the measurements 
3.  Make a muslin dress with the pattern you made to see the fitting
4.  Learn about pattern variations 
5.  Create your own design and make the pattern
 

Info

Students will need a domestic sewing machine, iron, and basic sewing kit at home to practice and complete their garments. EcoEquitable will supply the sewing machine, tools, and accesories during class as well as fabric when possible.

PrerequisiteSewing Basics II or  Intermediate sewing skills.

Refund/Cancellation policy:

Written notice of cancellation may be processed with a full refund (minus a 10% admin fee) two weeks prior to the course starting.  Cancellations received 1 week prior to the course are eligible for a 50% refund unless there is a wait list for the course.  Cancellations within the final week prior to the course are non-refundable unless there is a wait list for the course and the course can be run with full attendance.
