This is a course has been designed for those who have some experience sewing with a serger but would like to expand their skills. This is a continuation of our very popular “Intro to Serger” workshop.
DATE: February 06 - March 27
TIME: Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00pm
- Pair of Leggings
In this 4-classes course, you will learn how to sew a pair of leggings using a serger/overlock machine. You’ll be guided to check for the proper stitching to use, learn how to give stability to seams in a garment and how to sew a professional-looking hem.
After you have finished your leggings you will have the knowledge and confidence to start using your serger more and more!
Students are asked to bring their serger, owners manual and tools.
Materials are not included in the registration fee. A list of materials will be provided by your instructor before the first class and/or on the day of your first class.

Students are encouraged to have a domestic sewing machine, iron, and basic sewing kit at home to practice and/or complete their in-class projects.
