Sewing Reusable Household Items

If you are in the path on going green, this is a great opportunity to cut down on expenses by making reusable sewing items for  you and your loved ones.

In this 4-week workshop, you will learn how to make a range of reusable everyday items that will make useful and lovely gifts for all your family.


W1 - Un-paper Towel
W2 - Cutlery Roll
W3 - Japanese Knot Bag / Know bag w ring
W4 - Reusable food Bag with drawstring/zipper (eg bread bag, sandwich)

Alternate project

- face scrubber/make-up remover
- reusable wipes/TP

ECOEQUITABLE WILL PROVIDE with sewing equipment including a sewing machine, tools and accessories to work in-class. 
  • A notebook for taking notes 
  • Materials to work on your in-class project 
MATERIALS are not Included. A list of materials will be provided by your instructor before the first class and/or on the first class.

Students will need a domestic sewing machine, iron, and basic sewing kit at home to practice and/or complete their in-class projects.

Prerequisite:  No previous sewing experience needed

Refund/Cancellation policy:

Written notice of cancellation may be processed with a full refund (minus a 10% admin fee) two weeks prior to the course starting.  Cancellations received 1 week prior to the course are eligible for a 50% refund unless there is a wait list for the course.  Cancellations within the final week prior to the course are non-refundable unless there is a wait list for the course and the course can be run with full attendance.
