Zero-Waste Workshop -- Sewing Reusable Household items

Make this Holiday Season, a “Zero Waste Season”!
If you are in the path on going green, this season is a great opportunity to cut down on expenses by making reusable gifts for your loved ones, and complement them with zero waste wrapping!

In this 4-week workshop, you will learn how to make a range of reusable everyday items that will make useful and lovely gifts for all your family.

 BONUS: Sophie Landriault will teach you how to sew fabric gift bags!

 Reusable items:

  • Lunch/snack bags
  • Reusable heat packs
  • Bowl covers
  • Fabric Napkins 

**Visit our Fabric and Notions boutique where you'll find a wide selection of recycled fabric at a reasonable price**

Students will need a domestic sewing machine, iron, and basic sewing kit at home to practice and complete their garments 
EcoEquitable has practice fabric as needed.
Homework will consist of about 2 hours per class 

Prerequisite:  No previous sewing experience needed

Refund/Cancellation policy:

Written notice of cancellation may be processed with a full refund (minus a 10% admin fee) two weeks prior to the course starting.  Cancellations received 1 week prior to the course are eligible for a 50% refund unless there is a wait list for the course.  Cancellations within the final week prior to the course are non-refundable unless there is a wait list for the course and the course can be run with full attendance.
