Transition to Employment

The Transition to Employment program is an unpaid coop program providing 3-6 months of personalized mentoring and training in industrial sewing production and fashion retail on site at EcoEquitable.  Training takes place either in our production workshop or in the EE boutique inside of Heartwood House.  The program is designed for graduates of the Sewing for Jobs program seeking additional training opportunities before moving on to employment.  This program is designed to provide a tailored training experience, one-on-one mentorship and support to individuals facing employment barriers, in order that they can meet those challenges, and fully integrate into the labour market.
