EcoEquitable x Ottawa Public Library Launch Story Bags

October 25th, 2017 by Anouk Bertner No Comments

Hey Ottawa!  Get yourself out to a public library for Library Month!  In celebration of the love to read and connect, EcoEquitable and the Ottawa Public Library partnered to create 5,000 book bags.  Each one is proudly emblazoned with the message ‘This Bag has a Story, Ce sac a son histoire’ so that readers can carry home precious stories, but also a nod to EcoEquitable’s impressive story of inclusivity and local manufacturing.

The bags made for the Ottawa Public Library were created in our Vanier, Ottawa production studio by beautiful and determined immigrant ladies.  The material is from upcycled sources and we are very proud of this project and to contribute to a great community initiative.
