Always wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine but lacked the equipment and tools to get started? This class will have you confidently sewing on a machine in just five days!
You will learn how to properly and safely thread and operate a sewing machine, as well as how to select and adjust stitch types. Through basic but fun projects, students will be introduced to concepts like seam allowance, fabric grain, using a paper pattern and seam pressing techniques. Best yet, you'll go home with some great projects just in time for school, like a stylish infinity scarf and a Pinterest-worthy locker or wall organizer. All materials for projects and sewing machines are provided for the duration of the class.
