This is a course that has been designed for those who have some experience sewing with a serger but would like to expand their skills. This is a continuation of our very popular “Intro to Serger” workshop.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
In this 4-classes course, you will learn how to sew a t-shirt using a serger/overlock machine. You’ll be guided to check for the proper stitching to use, learn how to give stability to seams in a serged garment, serge a neck binding and how to sew a professional-looking hem.
After you have finished your t-shirt you will have the knowledge and confidence to start using your serger more an more!
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING:
Students are asked to bring their serger, owners manual and tools.
WHAT ECOEQUITABLE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH:
- Our classrooms are equipped with vast variety of sewing tools and accessories that you may need to work on your projects while in class.
- EE will provide students with a pattern if necessary
