Have you always wanted to make your own throw pillows, in colours that would complement your decor, or make a new slipcover for your worn-out dining chair or armchair. If this is you then this is the class for you. This class is taught by a dressmaker who has worked for many years in the upholstery field.
Make the pillow form, and throw pillow, with a zipper and without a zipper
Measure and sew a cover for your sofa cushion
Make piping, and how to sew piping into your cushions
Make a slipcover for your dining room chairs
Create a new slipcover for your armchair
Materials are not included in the registration fee. A list of materials will be provided by your instructor before the first class and/or on the day of your first class.

Prerequisite: No sewing experience is required.
Students are encouraged to have a domestic sewing machine, iron, and basic sewing kit at home to practice and/or complete their in-class projects.
