In Memory of: Diane Maisonneuve

It was with great sadness that the Maisonneuve family said goodbye to our loving, kind, gentle, and creative Diane this past February (2020)

As we set about the difficult task of packing up Diane’s home, we came upon her sewing stash and what a marvellous stash it was.

In discovering metres upon metres of beautiful fabric, boxes of patterns and her machines, we were reminded of what an important place sewing occupied in Diane’s life.

In trying to decide what to do with Diane’s carefully curated and beloved sewing stash, we discovered EcoEquitable. She would have absolutely loved this wonderful community of women working with and for women through their shared passion for sewing.

It warms our hearts to know that Diane’s memory will live on through the creations of the women at EcoEquitable, whose hands will bring to life the projects that Diane did not get the opportunity to complete.
