6 Ways to Support EcoEquitable

As the end of the year approaches, we reflect on all we’ve been able to achieve towards women’s empowerment through the art of sewing alongside textile waste reduction. With your support we’ve been able to attain key milestones, like expanding our classroom space that has allowed our boutique to grow and offer a better retail experience for all, organizing the Circularity Fair for a second time, and completing many new sewing projects through the job referral program since its launch last year!

With the festive season upon us, here are a couple ways you can continue to support our work towards sustainable communities where women thrive:

• Submit a sewing project request through our Job Referral Program 

• Register for a public sewing class 

• Give the gift of choice with our gift card, redeemable at the fabric boutique or towards public classes 

• Sort through your fabric stash and make an in-kind donation in-person, before December 20th to be eligible to receive a 2024 tax receipt! Please check our website for holiday hours.

• If you’re in a position to, make a financial donation to support our social and environmental work in Ottawa
