FAQs

Q: When will new public classes be posted?

A: New public classes are posted regularly throughout the year. We do not have a waitlist. We do not offer private classes. To browse and register for a class, please check back in a couple weeks, subscribe to our newsletter for updates, or follow us on Instagram for the latest information!

Q: What's in a basic sewing kit?

A: A basic sewing kit usually contains thread, pencil, hand needle, seam ripper, scissors, pins and pin cushion, clear plastic ruler, fabric chalk, gauge, thimble.

Q: Can I donate my sewing machine?

A: Due to limited capacity, we only accept functional sewing machines that have all their parts and do not require repairs. If your machine matches this description, you are welcome to drop if off during regular boutique hours. If your machine does not match this description, we recommend looking into buy-nothing groups.

Q: When are you open?

A: To shop in the fabric boutique or to drop-off an in-kind donation, please visit us during our boutique hours listed above. No appointment required. For a full description of our donation guidelines including what we do and do not accept, please visit our fabric boutique webpage in our main menu.
