Anouk's Goodbye Message
Dear EcoEquitable Community,
After much thought, it is time for me to move on from EcoEquitable. I have always described Eco is a place where women come to change their lives. I have been no different. This place has loved me, nurtured me, and supported me through some of my biggest life changes. I have been transformed by this beautiful community of women. After eight years, and with my kids growing, it is my time to pursue new challenges.
My next role will be of my own making – I have started a feminist consulting cooperative that supports social purpose organizations. My work will include gender, anti-racism/anti-oppression work, and supporting social enterprises in their development (proco.coop)
I want to thank everyone at EE for their amazing support and love. I really cannot say enough good things about the organization and the incredible role it has played in my life. As I leave, I also know that I leave it in good hands – Jacquie Manzo, Program Manager and Pamela Bassoi, Logistics Manager, will be assuming Director roles and with the full support of the Board of Directors, they will be charting the future for EcoEquitable. This Thursday, September 30th will be my last day.
The future is bright for all of us and I look forward to staying connected to EE, as an ambassador, volunteer and fabric hoarder.
Sincerely,
Anouk
