Repair-It-Yourself Series
Regular price $45.00Celebrate the first annual Circularity Month in Canada this October by joining Anne, our very own Communications and Impact Coordinator, in this exciting series on repair techniques! For all levels!
In this class, you will learn:
- Basics hand-sewing techniques
- How to replace a button
- How to sew on a patch
- How to extend the pockets of a garment
- How to darn a hole of a knitwear item
- Why repair is such an important component to a sustainable future, and why learning to do-it-ourselves is an empowering, cost-effective way to both keep the clothes we love and protest the fast-fashion industry.
All proceeds from EcoEquitable's public sewing and textile courses go towards our mission of empowering women with sewing skills and building connection and community; and supporting our local circular economy by redistributing fabric and sewing tools. We thank you for joining and supporting us!
