Alana Nugent (they/she) is a communications strategist, facilitator, and community organizer with more than a decade of experience in nonprofit communications, public engagement, equity-focused education, and organizational development. They currently work as a Senior Communications Consultant with the Ontario HIV Treatment Network and previously served as Co-Executive Director with the City for All Women Initiative.

Alana cares deeply about sustainability and contributing to community-led initiatives that prioritize people, collective care and the one home planet we share. They are excited to bring this commitment, along with their collaborative and community-centred approach, to EcoEquitable’s Board.
