Yasmine Ahmed, Board Director

Yasmine Ahmed is a current undergraduate student at the University of Ottawa, studying Political Science and Feminist and Gender Studies. She has worked as a Page at the House of Commons, an assistant research and policy analyst at a Knowledge Institute, and as a Cyber Engagement Analyst under the Ministry of National Defence, where she researched important projects and developments pertaining to cybercrime. In her most recent endeavours, she has worked as a psychosocial support intern supporting young mothers and students in Uganda. She brings an academic feminist and youth engagement lens to the board.
