Board
Tabatha Soltay, Board Director
Tabatha Soltay is a tree-hugger by training, and a facilitator and strategic planner by trade. After a decade of public service, Tabatha started her own company in 2012 where she designed stakeholder engagement and adult learning tools to open up spaces for dialogue on difficult topics. Currently Tabatha works as a consultant focusing on large transformational change projects. Tabatha considers herself a true third-culture kid, having spent over half her life living and learning outside of Canada including the Middle East, Asia and Europe. Tabatha is now back in Ottawa and putting down roots.
Prior to EcoEquitable, Tabatha was on the Board of Directors for a not-for-profit in Toronto focused on empowering you through innovation and entrepreneurship, and was the Chair of the Board for an environmental not-for-profit in Ottawa. Tabatha cannot sew, but her mother was a designer and seamstress and loved creating outfits. Tabatha still owns and wears clothes her mother designed and had manufactured in the 1970’s. Soon, she hopes to dust off the machine her mother left her and learn.
