Holly Peel, Public Class Instructor
Holly has been a maker for most of her life. She started out her career doing a regular “desk” job and spent every spare moment outside of her work day making things.
She realized that she would be much happier if she could pursue more creative work, which brought her to the Sewing For Jobs program at EcoEquitable (completed in 2024). She loves to make pretty much anything with a needle and believes hand sewing is fun! She has been making clothes, quilts and accessories, as well as doing textile repairs and alterations. She loves that sewing allows for constant learning, discovery, collaboration and creativity.
Holly looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for sewing and the maker community with you!
