Leigh Ellen Walsh - Board Chair

Leigh Ellen is a Chartered Professional Accountant with twenty years of experience working in business, government, and not-for-profit sectors. She currently teaches accounting at the University of Ottawa. Leigh Ellen specializes in government and not-for-profit accounting and has worked with several organizations to develop financial plans and secure funding. She joined Ecoquitable in 2020, serving first as its Treasurer before assuming the Chair role in 2022.  Leigh Ellen grew up on a farm in Prince Edward Island and spent several years living and working abroad before moving to Ottawa in 2018.
